The school was filled with anticipation on Total Defence day. Excitement peaked upon the arrival of the fire engine and the demonstration on how fire could be put out.
During recess, the children were allowed to do face and body painting and they had great fun. After their break, they had a stage play by NextStage, entitled, "Heroes of the Opium Hill." A quiz which allowed some of the children to win prizes brought about much joy to the chidlren.
I am sure the children are looking forward to the next occasion!
