National Fire & Civil Emergency Preparedness Council 'On-the-Spot Art Competition'

On Saturday 23rd May 2009, 3 of our Primary 4 students Sherman , Odelia Chung and Ng Yuan Kai took part in the 'On-the-Spot Art Competition' at Clementi Primary School. The competition was organised by NFEC. The theme for this year’s competition is ‘Ever Ready for Emergencies’. The objective of the competition is to create greater awareness of fire prevention and civil emergency preparedness among the students through the use of art.

The students created art piecces based on their interpretation of the theme and put to the test the skills they learnt in Art Lessons. It was also a good opportunity for them to learn from their peers from the other schools.

The students received certificates of participation and Sherman Lim came in 3rd for Category B winning cash vouchers worth $100. Congratulations, Sherman!

Details of the competition are available at the NFEC website:

Dear Patrick,

At that time, I was unable to find the photos too. Maybe they have yet to upload them. I've not gone back to the website to check since then. Maybe you can email them. The photos on the blog are my own.
